Review: Cute Portable Bluetooth Speakers from Divoom

Cute Portable Bluetooth Speakers from Divoom

There are a lot of portable Bluetooth speakers to choose from, so why not choose one that offers something extra? Divoom offers a variety of such speakers and I got to try a few. The BlueTune Bean ($39.90) and AirBeat 10 ($49.99) are both cute and compact—about the size of a hockey puck—and come with a few extra features.

The AirBeat-10 is splash proof and has a suction cup and bike mount. The Bean model adds a remote shutter for taking selfies with your iPhone's camera. All of the units have a built-in speakerphone and a six-hour battery. They aren't sold in many retail stores, but you can find them discounted on Amazon.

Pros

  • Cute design, with a nice selection of colors
  • AirBeat is splash proof and has a suction cup and bike mount
  • Bean adds a remote shutter for camera
  • Built-in speakerphone
  • Six-hour battery

Cons

  • AirBeat-10 is splash proof, but not waterproof
  • Hard to find, but available on Amazon.com

Final Verdict

If you are looking for a Bluetooth speakerphone, consider one that adds something extra, like a remote shutter or a splash-proof design like the BlueTune Bean and AirBeat 10 from Divoom.
