How to Change Default Card on Apple Pay on iPhone
I use my iPhone for all my personal Apple Pay purchases, so I'm setting my personal debit card as the default card in Apple Pay on this device. If you have a company or business phone, you may want to set your company card as the default payment method.
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Touch and hold the card you want to set as your new Apple Pay default card.
- Drag the card in front of your other cards, so you can see the entire card. You'll get a pop-up notice that your default card has changed.

How to Change Default Apple Pay Card on Apple Watch
For a lot of Apple Watch users, their Apple Watch is the device they use the most for Apple Pay. If you use your Apple Watch for Apple Pay purchases all the time, it's important to set the right default card in Apple Wallet.
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap the My Watch tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap Default Card under Transaction Defaults.
- Tap the card you want to set as your default card; you'll see a checkmark by your chosen card.
Now you have a new Apple Pay default card on your Apple Watch!

- Open System Settings on your Mac.
- Click Wallet & Apple Pay.
