How to Update Apps on iPhone
To learn more about making the most of your iPhone features, sign up for our Tip of the Day newsletter. If you have app updates on your iPhone, you can either choose to update all your apps at once, or choose just one to update for now. Here's how to update an app on your iPhone:
- Open the App Store app.

- Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

- Scroll down to find the app you want to update.

- Tap Update.

- You may need to enter your iPhone passcode and tap Sign In to continue.

- The app will begin updating. You can tap the stop icon at any time to cancel the update. (Note: if you do this, you will need to tap Update again to restart the process from the beginning.)

- Once it has finished updating, the app will automatically be moved to the Updated Recently section. Scroll down to find it.

- You can tap Open to open the app or simply return to your Home screen and open it as usual.
