To access the Journal app, you must download iOS 17.2 on your iPhone. Learn how to update to the latest iOS.
After you enable the schedule feature, you can customize the time and days of the week in which you'd like to be reminded to write in the Journal app. If you like learning how to use the latest Apple apps, sign up for our free Tip of the Day!
- On your iPhone, open Settings.
- Tap Journal.
- Tap Journaling Schedule.
- Toggle on Schedule.
- Tap the time to edit the time of day you'd like to write in your journal.
- Tap the days of the week you'd like to write in your journal.
- To turn on notifications for your journaling schedule, tap Go to Settings.
- Toggle on Allow Notifications.
- From here, you can make additional edits to the notification style or tap Journal to return to the Journal settings menu and tap Journaling Schedule again.
- Choose which days you'd like to receive Journal schedule notifications.
