How to Add and Change Effects in Photobooth on Your iPad
The iPhone has a camera app for taking pictures, but the iPad also has a Photobooth app similar to the one most Apple computers have. Unlike the camera app on your phone, the Photobooth app has filters and effects to alter the image you’re capturing before you even take the picture. Personally, the Kaleidoscope effect is my favorite—everything looks cool. Here’s how to add and change effects in Photobooth on your iPad.
To do this, open the Photobooth app. It’s one of the apps by Apple that comes preloaded on your iPad and, currently, can’t be deleted. For our example, I’m taking a picture of my afternoon coffee. To open the effects options, tap the three overlapping circles in the lower left corner.
Your effects options will pop up with selections from X-ray and Kaleidoscope to Thermal Camera and Light Tunnel. Tap the effect you want to add. To revert back to normal, tap the circles icon again and select Normal, in the center.
