How to Transfer Photos from Your iPhone to Your Computer Using AirDrop

There are a variety of reasons why you might want to transfer your photos from your iPhone to your computer. Maybe you’re running low on storage space and need to clear out some room in your Photos app; or maybe you just like the extra bit of security that comes with having your photos on multiple devices. Here’s how to use AirDrop to transfer photos between devices.
To get started, you’ll need to first launch Control Center and make sure that both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
Next, open the Photos app, select the images you would like to transfer, and then tap on the Share icon.
A list of options will appear. Under AirDrop, look for your computer, or select the contact that you would like your share your photos with.
That’s all there is to it! You can now find your shared images in the Downloads folder on your Mac.
