Will My Alarm Go Off on Do Not Disturb?
Do alarms go off on Do Not Disturb? If you set an iPhone alarm, yes, your alarm will still go off if you have Do Not Disturb or another Focus mode on. Does Do Not Disturb Block Alarms?
Do Not Disturb can block third-party alarms. Here is how to make sure your alarms go off in Do Not Disturb or a specific Focus:
- In your Control Center, tap Focus.
- Tap the more icon next to the Focus you want to set an alarm during.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Allow Notifications tap Apps.
- Make sure Allow Notifications From is selected, then tap Add Apps.
- Select the alarm app of your choice. Please note that you have to have notifications enabled for that app for it to show up as an option.
- Tap Done.
And there you have it! Now you can set Do Not Disturb or a Focus without worrying you'll sleep too late and miss your meeting. If you have an Apple Watch, you can even use Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode to set a silent alarm on your wrist.
