How to Peek at a Bookmark without Opening It
When it comes to 3D Touch, it’s hard to know when you can and can't use it. Since it’s a fairly new feature on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, even Apple apps are still updating software to include options like Quick Actions or Peek & Pop. One such occasion when you might not realize you can use Peek & Pop for is when viewing your Bookmarks in Safari. This is a great way to see where your saved links lead and makes clearing old bookmarks much quicker.
To do this, open Safari. Tap on the open book icon at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up your Bookmarks, Reading List, and Shared Links. Tap the open book icon again if not already highlighted.
Now, you can Peek at any one of your links. Just press, add a little pressure, and a window will pop out with a Peek at the link’s destination. Lift your finger to return to your bookmarks or press harder to Pop the window open and visit the page.
*This tip works with iPhone 6s and 6s Plus
