How to Save Reddit GIFs on an iPhone: The Quickest Way

What To Know

  • You can download a Reddit GIF, but first, you'll need to install the Apollo for Reddit app.
  • To save a Reddit GIF on your iPhone, touch and hold the GIF, then tap Download Video > Save Video. The GIF will be saved to your Photo Library.
  • The GIF may be saved as a video rather than a .gif image.

Reddit is a valuable crowdsourcing website, but it's also a fun place to find and download GIFs! There's one snag, though. In order to save Reddit GIFs, you'll need to download another app first.

How to Download Reddit GIFs on iPhone & iPad

In order to download Reddit GIFs, you'll need to download a separate app, Apollo for Reddit. The one hitch with this method is that GIFs will be saved in video form. For more great GIF tutorials, check out our free Tip of the Day.

Note: When you download a GIF from Reddit, it may be saved as a video file rather than an image in the Photos app.
