How to Access Apple Wallet from the Lock Screen

Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

With most current iPhone models, you will see a toggle called Double-Click Side Button. Make sure this is enabled (green).
You may instead see Double-Click Home Button if you use an iPhone that has a Home button.

Now, when you want to access the Wallet app from the Lock Screen on an iPhone, all you need to do is double-click the side button or Home button, and you'll see a screen like this one:

And you'll be ready to pay just by holding your iPhone near the card reader! Note, that if you don't have a credit or debit card set up for Apple Pay, this will not open the app.

Your days of fumbling in your purse or physical wallet for your credit cards are over, and you should be ready to summon Apple Pay from your Lock Screen at a moment's notice.
