The Image Playground feature in the Messages app also has a standalone app called Playground. The Image Playground library, which contains all your saved generated images, can be accessed from the Playground app, but also directly from the Messages app. Learn how to find all the images you’ve created using Image Playground.

How to Access Images Created in Image Playground

This tip works on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Pro, running iOS 18.2 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled. Find out how to update to the latest version of iOS.
We’ve already covered how to use Image Playground to generate unique images or artwork, but where does it go once you save it? You can access all your images via the standalone Apple Image Playground app (free) or from within the Messages app.
- Open Playground.
- You’ll be taken to your Image Playground library. Scroll down to see your images. You can long-press an image to edit, share, copy, duplicate, add caption, or delete it.
- Next, open the Messages app and start a new message thread or navigate to an existing one. Tap the plus icon.
- Select Image Playground, you may need to scroll to see more options if you don’t see Image Playground right away.
- Tap the x icon in the top left corner.
- Select Library.
- Below the text field, you’ll see all your generated images.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see more images.
