Open the Instagram app.
Tap the Plus sign.
Tap Story.
Tap Select.
Tap a photo that you've turned into a Bounce or Loop GIF; this will be indicated by a Boomerang icon (infinity symbol).
Tap the forward arrow.
Tap the Boomerang icon.
Tap Done, tap the forward arrow one more time, then tap Share.
Tap Done.
