The new iOS 18 Mail update includes a new feature that allows you to sort your emails into different categories. Here’s how the email filters on iPhone work:
- Open the Mail app, and select one of your inboxes (or All Inboxes).
- By default, you’ll see your Primary emails, represented by the person icon.
- Tap any of the four icons at the top to filter your inbox.
- The shopping cart icon will show you any emails related to Transactions.
- Selecting the message bubble icon will show you emails that are considered Updates.
- Lastly, if you tap the megaphone icon, you’ll see all of your Promotions.
