This tip was tested on an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.4. Learn how to update to the latest operating system.

You can remove apps from your Home Screen without deleting them! Once you've removed an app from your iPhone Home Screen, you will still be able to access it through search, or via the App Library. Here's how to hide iPhone apps:

  1. On your iPhone Home Screen, touch and hold the app you want to hide from your Home Screen. touch and hold app on home screen
  2. Tap Remove App. tap remove app in menu
  3. Then, tap Remove from Home Screen. tap remove from home screen

The app will still be accessible through the App Library but will now be hidden from your Home Screen. You can always restore the app to your Home Screen if you decide to do so at a later date.
