It's so cool to be able to know at a glance exactly where a photo was taken, especially if you've recently been traveling and have been to numerous historical sights or landmarks. It can be difficult to keep track of what photo was taken where. But with the AI of the Visual Look Up feature, you no longer have to remember at all! - On your iPhone, open the Photos app.
- Select a photo that features a famous location or landmark. (This won't work if the photo is of your shoes at the Grand Canyon. It needs to be a photo of the Grand Canyon itself, otherwise, the AI won't be able to identify it.)
- Tap the info button. If the AI will work on this photo, the info button will be decorated with sparkles.
- Tap Look Up Landmark.
- From here, you can select various options for further inquiry, like getting directions, placing a call to the location, or looking up further information about the location via the internet.
Now you should be able to identify famous landmarks in all of your photos! Next, learn how to find recipes from photos on your iPhone.
