How to Send & Request Money with Apple Cash from the Wallet App

So, how do you pay someone with Apple Cash? First, make sure you have a credit or debit card linked to your Apple Wallet so you can use this feature. Then, follow the steps below to learn how to send and request funds:

1. Open the Wallet app and tap your Apple Cash card.
   
   
2. Tap Send or Request.
   
   
3. Enter the name of the contact you want to send money to or request money from. Tap to select their name once you see it appear.
   
   
4. Alternatively, you can also tap the plus icon to select a contact from your contact list.
   
   
5. Once you have selected a contact, tap Next.
   
   
6. Type in the amount of money you want to send. In smaller text beneath the amount you've entered, you can also see your available Apple Cash balance.
   
   
7. If you want to send money to your friend, tap Send.
   
   
8. If you want to request payment from your friend, tap Request. 
   
   
9. Now you'll be taken to the Messages app to send your payment or request for payment. If you want to add a comment to your sent or requested funds, type a comment in the text field.
   
   
10. Tap Send to send your payment amount or payment request.
