If you’re looking for writing apps for the iPhone, look no further; there’s one conveniently built into your device. Apple Intelligence-enabled devices can use AI to rewrite any body of text. You can use it to make your emails more professional, more concise, or friendlier. Let’s go over how to use Apple Intelligence Writing Tools:

  1. In any body of text, select all the text.

  2. Tap the Apple Intelligence icon.

  3. Tap Friendly.

  4. Your text will be rewritten to sound more friendly. The text I had written for this example was already pretty friendly, so you probably won’t find many differences here.

  5. Next, tap Professional.

  6. Now the text will be rewritten to sound more work-appropriate.

  7. Select Concise.

  8. The rewritten text will be much shorter.

  9. You can tap Revert at any point to change your text back to the original.

  10. Tap Done when you are satisfied to save your text.

You can use Apple Writing Tools anywhere that you type text, from the Messages app to social media. But make sure to read the text you have Apple Intelligence rewrite: it's a new feature, and some of the suggestions may be a little out there.
