Now that the Apple Watch has been available for a month, some experienced users are developing strong opinions about the best and most useful apps. And they've taken the time to post short lists of these.I wanted to point you to two such lists. Stuff.tv has an annotated list of the 10 best apps they use the most. Their list includes Twitterific (free), Shazam (free), Citymapper (free), and Find Near Me (free). If you're out and about, apps like Citymapper and Find Near Me would would make it especially convenient to get to where you want to go and find what you're looking for — all from your wrist. Citymapper covers public transportation in London, Manchester, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Berlin, Hamburg, New York City, Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Mexico City, and São Paulo.
In addition, AppleInsider has a post about the best third-party apps for runners. They include Runtastic (free), Nike+ Running (free), and Strava Running and Cycling (free). Runtastic, for example, gives you "quick access to critical run information like elapsed time, distance and pace measurements in an easy-to-read overview pane."
