How to Open Apps Automatically at Login on Mac

How to Change Startup Apps on Mac

There are a couple of different ways to change startup programs on Mac, but the simplest and fastest way happens right in your Dock.   1. Command-click or right-click on the app icon in your Dock.
  2. Hover your mouse over Options.
  3. Select Open at Login.
It’s as easy as that! When you select Open at Login, a checkmark will display next to that option under the Options menu. If you want to stop the app from opening at login, just follow the exact same steps again to remove the checkmark.
