Now, when opening the Smart Stack, you’ll sometimes see Live Activities to provide you with the most up-to-date information for compatible apps. What is the Smart Stack on Apple Watch? The Smart Stack is a stack of widgets that your Apple Watch automatically sorts based on what it determines to be most relevant to you. Now, here’s how to check Live Activities:

Swipe up on your Apple Watch face to open the Smart Stack.
If there is a Live Activity, it will automatically appear at the top of the stack.
You can even interact with some Live Activities, such as pausing or starting a timer or workout.
