Some of you pointed out that amidst my sports riot-based buffoonery in last Sunday's editor's message, I neglected to wish our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, a happy birthday. Of course Abraham Lincoln's birthday deserves commemoration! Each year we celebrate it by rolling it together with George Washington's birthday and calling it Presidents' Day.
