Apple Pay continues to grow in popularity as the contactless digital wallet offers great convenience to users. It allows them to make payments in stores and online without needing to have physical credit cards or cash on hand. Unfortunately, not all stores and sites allow the use of Apple Pay, and Walmart is one of those that do not.

Unfortunately, Walmart does not support Apple Pay for payment on the website, within the Walmart app, or in physical stores. So what options do you have? You can either pay with traditional methods or, if you shop at Walmart regularly enough to make it worthwhile, you can download the official Walmart app from the App Store and use the Walmart Pay system.
The Walmart Pay feature of the Walmart mobile app allows you to attach payment methods to the app and will then generate a QR code for you to scan at the register when you want to check out, thus allowing you to continue to leave your cards and cash at home, though requiring the use a store-specific app. For more information on making the best use of your Apple device's features, like Apple Pay, be sure to sign up for our free Tip of the Day newsletter.
