Apple Pay is a popular system used by many people to make payments at stores and online without needing access to their physical credit cards or cash and can be used with Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. Unfortunately, not all major retailers have made their stores and sites compatible with Apple Pay. So, does Target accept Apple Pay? The short answer is, yes!

Target & Apple Pay: What to Know
It's interesting to note that this is a change from the past, as when Apple Pay was first introduced, Target did not allow its use. It's also important to be aware that while Target now accepts Apple Pay and other contactless digital wallets in its stores, it unfortunately still cannot be used on either the Target website or the Target mobile app.
If you want to use Apply Pay at the Target register, just make sure that you have it fully set up on your iPhone, or other Apple Device, beforehand. Once Apple Pay is set up on your device to use it to pay you only need to unlock your device (with FaceID set up, this will likely happen automatically), double click the side button, select the card to use (if you don't want to use the default), and, finally, hold it near the NFC reader at the checkout counter.
