I was at New York City Comic Con a while ago, and the kind folks from Yogibo had a variety of their comfortable "un-beanbag" chairs available for weary convention goers to try. They are extremely comfortable, in part due to their "zero friction" modules which are less restrictive than traditional beanbag chairs. But I noticed they had smaller, pillow-sized items.
It turns out that Yogibo has some very affordable pillows for tablets starting at $20. I tried the Tablo X Tablet Stand ($29). This pillow works as a stand for iPads, iPad minis, and similarly sized tablets. It probably won't accommodate the new iPad Pro, but it should handle most Apple and Android tablets. You can use the built-in straps to secure the tablet to the pillow, and secure the pillow itself to a car's headrest, for example. I might even take one on my next airplane trip, and alternate between using it with my iPad and as a neck pillow.
I liked how comfortable and configurable that Tablo X is. There's also a zipper compartment for storage, so you can insert your iPad and it should be well-protected. Yogibo offers the Tablo X in a variety of colors, just like their furniture.
Pros
- Comfortable and easy to configure
- A variety of straps for different-sized tablets
- Zipper compartment for storage
- Variety of colors
- Straps for headrest mounts, etc.
Cons
- Probably won't accommodate iPad Pro
Final Verdict
The Tablo X Tablet Stand from Yogibo is a great way to support your tablet and your head.
