It was finally confirmed this week that Apple's fall event, called "Far Out," will be held on Wednesday, September 7. This has prompted some mad scrambling in the iPhone Life newsroom—we were expecting the event to be at least a week later, possibly two. But this means we'll be getting the iPhone 14 lineup and possibly the release of iOS 16 even earlier than anticipated!
