The 2024 Security Course Is Here—for Free!
We know that your digital privacy and security are important to you, and we bring you the best iPhone security tips in this newsletter and all the latest security news in our monthly privacy and security newsletter (available with all Insider subscriptions). Now, we're launching our new, interactive Privacy & Security Course for Apple enthusiasts, and we're inviting you to join the first lesson completely for free! Join us this Wednesday, March 13, at 4:30 PM ET for a lesson on passwords and logins, where we'll show you the easiest ways to keep your passwords secure—without having to memorize fifty different unique strings of letters and numbers!
Spring Forward!
If you're lucky enough to feel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning, you might not even have noticed: in the wee hours of the morning, we sprang forward! All of your Apple devices should have automatically adjusted their clocks, which is very helpful to avoid missing important appointments (like the time the clocks changed when I was catching an international flight, and I almost missed my plane), but can cause some confusion when you're suddenly waking up in the dark and going to bed at sunset. Just remember that while you can trust your iPhone clock after the time change, you can't trust your oven or wall clock! Unless you have much smarter appliances than I do, in which case, send me your recommendations.
Enjoy your week! Next time, I'll have some exciting new updates to share, but I figured today we're all too discombobulated to retain new information. Just have a coffee and take it slow today, and feel free to use the time change to explain why you didn't make it to the HOA meeting.
