What Is iPhone Life Magazine?

Since 2012, iPhone Life has published more than 70 issues of its magazine, covering everything from iPhone news to smart gear for your home. And as an Insider, you get instant access to the digital archives as an extra benefit with your annual membership. Our comprehensive and in-depth articles take the iPhone experience to a whole new level—plus you get to read articles written by iPhone Life staff as well as a wide range of contributors. 


How to Access the Magazine

There are a couple of ways you can access issues of iPhone Life magazine: through our free iPhone Life app or on the Insider website.

iPhone Life App

You can access the magazine by using our app to view the magazine on your iPhone or iPad.

  • If you don't already have it, start by downloading the app from the App Store, which is essentially a magazine reader.
  • Upon downloading the app, you’ll tap the profile icon in the bottom right, and tap Sign In.
  • Tap Sign In, make sure Sign In With Your Email is selected, and enter the email associated with your Insider subscription.
  • In the Library section you’ll see every issue of our magazine.
  • Simply tap on any issue to download it.
  • When swiping through pages in the magazine, you can tap the bottom right button, which will either say ‘Text’ or ‘PDF’ to toggle the view.
  • PDF view has an artistic layout and looks the way we designed it for the magazine.
  • Text view is ideal for people who want to increase the text size, and appears more as an endless scroll rather than a page-by-page view.
  • You can tap the Bookmark button to bookmark a page, in case you’d like to save an article to revisit later. You can access these at any time from the Library section of the app, in the Bookmarks tab.
  • As long you’re logged in using the same email in both locations, you’ll see all of your bookmarks from the Library section of the app on any of your devices.
  • There’s also a search function in the app that allows you to search our articles across all of our issues. Say you wanted to find an article about AirPods, just search for AirPods and you’ll find everything we’ve written on that topic throughout the years.And now you know every way to access our catalog of iPhone Life magazine issues. Insider Website

You can also access the magazine when you log into your Insider account at insider.iphonelife.com on your iPhone, iPad, or your computer.

  • Start by opening a browser such as Safari or Google Chrome and typing Insider.iPhoneLife.com into the URL bar at the top of your screen.
  • Log in using the email address and password you created when you subscribed to Insider.
  • Once logged in, tap Magazine from the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
  • From here, you’ll click Access Digital Magazine Now.
  • Once logged in, tap Magazine from the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
  • From here, you’ll click Access Digital Magazine Now.
  • You may be asked to sign in. All you need to do is select Sign In With Your Email, then enter the email address associated with your Insider account.
  • Click sign in and you’re in.
  • You can flip through the issue by tapping the arrow located at the edge of the pages.
  • If you want to view past issues of iPhone Life magazine, on your computer, you view past issues by selecting the Back Issues tab to left of the issue you’re viewing. You’ll see a list of all our issues displayed. Select one to begin reading.
