Betta Get the Beta!
I'm sorry; I'm sure there are a ton of better puns out there to make about the iOS 17 public beta that came out last week. Maybe the dads in the audience can help me out? Anyway, the important thing is that public beta versions of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and more were released on Wednesday. This time around, Apple has made it a lot simpler to join the beta program and try out all the exciting new features before iOS 17's official release date in September. We've got a guide on how to install the iOS 17 beta on your iPhone that will walk you through every step.
Make sure to read this guide before you do decide to install the beta. There are some drawbacks—bugs and glitches are expected in beta versions of new operating systems—but if you're an Apple enthusiast, it's great to preview the new OS before anyone else, and you can give feedback directly to Apple about what should be improved before the official release. This version is the public beta, which comes out after the beta specifically for developers, so some of the kinks should already be worked out. You can check out what to expect from iOS 17 and the other new operating systems before you make your decision.
What do you think? Are you planning to install the beta? What feature are you looking forward to the most? I know here at iPhone Life, we're all loving the new Live Photo stickers! Let me know at elisabeth@iphonelife.com.
