In November? It's more likely than you think. If I'm talking about something seasonally inappropriate (Valentine's vibes just before Thanksgiving?), it can only mean one thing: I'm about to solicit your stories for another magazine article! This time, I'm asking you to share your tales of digital romance. What do I mean by "digital romance"? Well, if you want to tell me about how deeply in love you are with your printer/scanner, I will happily accept that story (and show it to everyone I know), but no. I want to hear your best stories about finding love on dating apps, conducting long-distance relationships via Zoom, struggling to express your affection over text messages back in the days of T9, unexpected romance blossoming on Usenet forums, recording your video-dating profile on VHS in the 90s, and more.
