StandBy mode is a feature in iOS 17 and later that is sometimes called nightstand mode. It will turn off automatically unless you have an iPhone with an Always-On display. Even if your Always-On display is toggled on, using Focus modes such as Sleep Focus will turn the StandBy mode screen off automatically. However, as long as you have Always-On display toggled on, you can adjust a single StandBy setting to make sure your screen never turns off.

I’ve also been an iPhone 6 Plus user since 2014 when the device was first released, with its large 5.5-inch, high-resolution screen, its dual FaceTime-capable cameras, its more powerful battery, and so on. The iPhone 6 Plus served me extremely well, so much so that I had little interest in changing iPhones. Recently though, I upgraded to the brand new iPhone 8 Plus; and if there’s one thing that has surprised me most about Apple’s newest model iPhone, it's just how little I’m impressed by it.

Duo 2 Lightning Cable: Listen & Charge at the Same Time

It's hard to get excited about a Lightning cable. Apple includes one with its compatible devices, although it's easily frayed, and third parties sell versions for about $10.
