One of the coolest things about iOS Reminders is the ability to set location-based reminders. Reminders determine when you are leaving or arriving somewhere through geofences. But what if you keep receiving a location-based reminder everytime you happen to be near but not arriving at or departing from the location? Or what if you want to get the reminder sooner as you approach the location? Just make the location's geofence bigger or smaller.
To adjust the geofence's size, open Reminders and create your reminder or tap on an existing reminder.
Tap the i icon to bring up the Details menu.
Toggle Remind me at a location on and then tap Location.
Enter the address where you want to receive the location reminder. You will then see a map of the location with a blue circle around it.
Touch and hold the black dot on the blue circle and move it in or out to until the geofence is your preferred size. Tap Details and then Done. You will now receive your location-based reminder as soon as you cross the new boundary of the geofence.
