Apple’s AI, Siri, is constantly improving. You can use Siri to do more now than ever, including including playing albums, asking about sport scores, and turning on and off certain settings such as Low Power Mode or Bluetooth. However, sometimes you ask Siri to do something and change your mind or need to ask another question. For instance, if you ask Siri to set a reminder but realize you don’t need the reminder, it’s easy to cancel the command. Here’s how to cancel Siri commands.
Activate Siri by holding the Home button or saying Hey Siri. Hey Siri will only work if the phone is plugged into a charger unless you’re using an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. Ask Siri to do something, such as creating a reminder. To cancel the command, tap the Siri icon and say “Cancel”.
Or, if you’ve asked Siri to do something else such as tell you what the time the sun rose in Paris this morning, you can cancel the command by pressing the Home button. Or, if you’re going to ask another question, tap the Siri icon and continue. To exit Siri all together, press the Home button.
