One of the things you can do to save your iPhone battery is to turn off automatic app updates. However, doing so means your app updates pile up and eventually you have to update them all, usually at the same time. Once you’ve started downloading the updates for all your apps,

Find the app you want to prioritize before the others.

3D Touch the app icon.

Tap Prioritize Download.
Your iPhone will update that app before the others. That’s all there is to it!
