Here's how to use Play Sound for AirTags:
- Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
- Tap the Items tab.
- Find your AirTag in the list and select it.
- Tap Play Sound.
- Your AirTag will play a sound that you can follow to find it and the item it's attached to.
Once you tap Play Sound, the sound will only play for a few seconds. If you still haven't found your AirTagged item by the time the sound stops, you can tap Play Sound again or try another method, such as Precision Finding or Directions. Plus, you can always use your Apple Watch to ping and find your AirTag, and if your AirTag is dirty after you find it, you can learn how to clean your AirTag!
