How to Speed Up Videos on iPhone

Unfortunately, there's not an option to speed up or slow down a video in the iPhone Photos app. However, if you want to speed up a video on your iPhone, you can do so from the iMovie app. While this is an Apple app, you may need to download iMovie if it is not already installed on your iPhone. Here’s how to speed up iPhone videos in iMovie:

  1. Open the iMovie app.

  2. If this is your first time opening the app, you may need to tap Continue.

  3. Tap Start New Project.

  5. Choose your video clip, and tap Create Movie.

  11. You can tap the Play button to watch your video, tap the Trash icon to delete the project, or tap the Share icon to save it.
